"Boite le chat" by Addict au Sucre

In Meguro ward of Tokyo, there is an authentic French style pastry shop called "Addict au Sucre". At the store, "Boite le chat" is raising its popularity.
In a small tin box, 5 French confectionaries, "Croqamour", "Sable-nantes", "Palmiers", "Sable-chocolate", "Boule de neige". Baked condition of every single one of them are exquisite. Sugar coating used on wasn't too sweet, so tender wheat is well harmonized.
This "Boite le chat" is often sold out. If you've got a chance to visit, strongly recommend that you do.
"Boite le chat".

"Boite le chat" is French for "Box of cat". The design is motif of owner's cat.
Owner's strong preference is even shown on the package. She discussed with the designer over and over until it's finalized.
The box is closely packed with butter-rich smelling baked sweets.
"Croqamour"
Almond and Hazelnuts are coarsely crushed and kneaded into coffee flavor meringue. Sweetness is mild, giving off slight bitterness of coffee and crispiness of nuts. Mouth-melting texture is superb.
"Sable-nantes"
Butter-rich sable, traditional baked sweet in Nantes of France. Not to mention sweet, rich scent of butter, mixture of crispy and mouth-melting texture is followed by very tender coconut. (Normally, sable-nantes does not contain coconuts, former pastry shop where the chef trained used coconuts and she followed the recipe. In fact, coconuts gives a bit of milky taste in it.)
"Palmiers"
Chef-patissiere's speciality and must-try of "Addict au Sucre". Baked condition is perfectly roasted. Layers of butter and dough with this baking condition perform Instrumental trio; crispy, fluffy, and crunchy.
"Sable-chocolate"
Bitter chocolate diamante. Crunchy almond is brought by bitter sweet mouth-melting cocoa dough. Chocolate used in this cookie contain 62% organic cacao, mixed with cocoa butter. Tender sweetness, bitterness makes you want to put coffee.
"Boule de neige"
Fluffy mouth-melting French cookie. Fine sweet sugar powder melts like snow. Cookie dough is added slightly of salt, making layers in taste. The sugar powder used is "Poudre Decor", keeps certain dried condition.
