Chip star chocolate by Fujiya

REVERSE THINKING OF "CHIP STAR CHOCOLAT" IS NOW ON SALE FOR LIMITED TIME. NATIONWIDE!

In previous post, I wrote about "Chip star chocolat" (チップスターショコラ) produced by Yamazaki biscuits. This time, "Chip star chocolate" (チップスターチョコレート) produced by Fujiya (不二家).

Fujiya is probably the first cake shop chain in Japan, founded in 1910 which makes them over 100 year history company. Running approximately 1000 stores throughout Japan. You might have known the company by the most famous soft candies called "Milky". Cakes and sweets that they produce is budget-friendly, and their hygiene management supports those safety and quality.

Now, "Chip star chocolate" is collaboration product between Fujiya and Yamazaki biscuits. In the title, I mentioned "reverse thinking of Chip star chocolat" is because baked chocolate by Fujiya plays a leading part and Chip star potato chip produced by Yamazaki plays a co-star as "crushed".

This snack is also limited products, hurry if you are fan of "Amajoppai sweet" (salty-sweet). If you haven't tried salty-sweet products ever before, you've got a catching up to do, my friends.

Crunchy crushed "Chip star" and chewy munchy baked chocolate may seem odd at first. But harmony of salty and sweet were played perfectly by each parts.

Where to buy: "Fujiya"

There is a little chance to find "Chip star chocolate" at Fujiya store. Try any suparmarkets, convenience stores (I bought one at seven-eleven) in Japan.
