Chopsticks are always top on "what to buy list" for people visiting Japan. Most of them can't care much about product's quality and lose their money at common souvenir shops.
Using chopsticks properly helps your cerebral function. Buy something lasts long and hopefully remember the places and people you visited.
Shidare Sakura, (しだれ桜).
Price: ¥648
Roughly finished grip helps you to hold. Shidare Sakura (Shidare Zakura) means weeping cherry blossoms. Sakura is known for its short time life of each season, so naming with sad adjective is cool for it. Washable in dish washer.
Takebashi, (竹箸).
Price: ¥864 to ¥918
Bamboo cut in Kyushu and processes, and finished by hand carefully. No chemical and paint is used for these pairs. Here's fun fact, bamboo is symbol of long life and good friendship, because they grow fairly quick and tall.
Kin Sakura, (金桜).

Washable in dish washer. Simple gold sakura is moderate.
Kodai Toribashi, (古代取箸).

Tweezers shape and origin of chopsticks. A word for chopsticks in Japanese, "Hashi" (箸, ハシ) was derived from "Kuchibashi", meaning beak, simply looked like them. Easy to pick for chopsticks starters.
