Japanese tea by NakamuraTokichi
LONG ESTABLISHED TEA SHOP NOW OPEN NEW STORE IN TOKYO, GINZA.
"Nakamura-Tokichi" is a long run tea shop in Kyoto that is known by all keen tea drinkers. 2 kinds of tea, "Nakamura" and "Tokichi" are the staple, most famous blends.
A tea blend "Nakamura" is made from 7 different tea such as Sencha, Gyokuro and other secret 5 tea. (In terms of tea, blending is called "Go-gumi" 合組.) Making it balanced tea that is easy to put up by anyone. What's unique about tea Nakamura is that temperature of water changes taste of the tea. For example, if you want your tea to be sweet, put up with lower temperature water. Putting up with higher temperature water makes the tea bitter.
Another blend is called "Tokichi", green tea fermented till Autumn. Having think bitterness and elegant aroma which oppose to current trend of green tea. That is mild and easy to drink. Getting used to tea like "Tokichi" is very much addictive because of such peculiar taste.
Tea is something unmissable when you are thinking of sweets. Nakamura-Tokichi produce one of the best sweets using finest tea leaves.
