LaQ by YOSHIRITSU CO., LTD.
THIS PUZZLE TICKLE THE IMAGINATION OF THE WHOLE FAMILY! OUTSTANDING SOUVENIR FROM JAPAN.
I used to be a LEGO fan but my favorite is now "LaQ" (ラキュー) produced by "Yoshiritsu" (ヨシリツ). Not just because I write review about the product, it's truly fun to play.
This made in Japan puzzle allows users to build much more sophisticated shapes, in flat, three-dimensions, and sphere. I'm sure other puzzles can do the same forms but what I really liked about it was its stress-free joints structure. You can kiss your stress good-bye of especially when disassembling combined pieces. Unique joints of LaQ gives smooth assembling and connecting performance is very high.
Shapes that you can make with it is unlimited. Only thing that might limits is simply your imagination.
LaQ is sold nationwide and I'm sure there are distributers in the city you are about to visit.

Yoshiritsu knows their apple. Japanese, English, Spanish and Chinese written manual.
Before moving on to the fun part, assembly. Sorted the pieces by different parts. I was guessing to sort by colors or parts. Decided to go for parts because there are 4 different joint parts look really similar.
Let's assemble a "Dinosaur"! 186 + 6 pieces are "a piece of cake"!
The sorting really saved time to prepare 186 +6 pieces. Fitting each pieces until you hear a "click". Smooth fitting feels good. If you want to disassemble the pieces, simply bend where jointed. They split easily.
Before you could say Jack Robinson.... for 200 times. A half of the dinosaur's face is assembled.
Connecting his face was the hardest part of all. All I need to do is his lower jaw and body.
After getting a feel of it. Submerging with hearing the clicking sound.
Tah-dah!
Something is wrong about the dinosaur... I realized some parts are inside out. Truth hurts.
Pulled myself together and re-assembled. Left the parts of his nose, thought the dinosaur need to breathe. You're welcome.
Well, it was so much fun. In Yoshiritsu's official site, there are instructions to build other models you can use. Check out. (http://www.laq.co.jp/en/how_to_make/)
