UNIQUE CHOCOLATE FROM CITY OF IRON, KITAKYUSHU.
Kitakyushu has strong image of "city of ironworks" both locally and domestically. There are still large ironworks company in the area of Kitakyushu bay, and in surroundings area, there are also local restaurants serving quick-ready food such as Yakisoba, horumon, and chanpon.
For the city of "hard-boiled", without a doubt, sightseeing wasn't its strongest feature. Until ironworks in Kitakyushu was registered as one of world heritage in 2015. Gran da zur's "neji choco" (ネジチョコ) became the most popular souvenir from Kitakyushu.
"Neji choco" is bolt and nut shaped chocolate (cacao 57%) that fit in perfectly. Its exploding sales since its first sale as 2017, Gran da zur's online shopping web has no stock. Around this October and November, (2017) Matcha, Strawberry, White chocolate as new flavor will be sold.
