Paper-craft by UPLIFT
PAPER-CRAFT WAS NOT A THING TO TICKLE MY MIND.
Paper-craft was definitely not a thing to make my interested. I was wrong about ones by UPLIFT, a company in Tokyo founded in 2002.
Some of you may know UPLIFT by "Craft heroes", Kamen Rider and Ultraman. Unfortunately, they finished producing heroes version. So, what you can get from now is what you see at stores. No more stocks will be made. (At the moment.)
Now, UPLIFT is producing paper-craft models of cars, maintenance tools and a bike. Expected the price to be expensive but in fact, very reasonable, considering quality and size of every models.
HONDA T360 (1/12 scale).
Price: ¥3,240
HONDA'S first four-wheel drive, T360. Water cooled twin-cam engine was extraordinary at the time. Admired as "Sports truck" is made as 1/12 scale size with uncompromising in detail. The body is used mermaid paper, giving unique texture and form.
1/12 size, looks as this when you hold completed model. A bit bigger than expected.
HONDA Monkey (1/5 scale).
Price: ¥3,780
Popular and long seller 50cc. motor bike, HONDA Monkey.
This is a size my kid will want to ride and break it. That's how perfect it is...
Garage tools (1/12 scale).
Price: ¥1,296
Maintenance tools set, hydraulic jack, rigid racks, etc. Fits perfectly with any 1/12 UPLIFT models.
