8.5oz T-shirt by Miwahousei
ABSOLUTELY NO DECEPTION IN ITS QUALITY, EXTRA THICK PLEASANT FEEL SIMPLE T-SHIRT.
Acknowledging myself as Tee-freak, seeking for best one to wear, and ended up making a rule, not to buy ones thinner than 6oz. Unless my close buddies tried already, almost never buy T-shirts online. To me, buying Tees without knowing enough about them, ends up with huge disappointment. It was simply a risk taking.
Having said that. "Miwahousei" (美和縫製), I am writing about in this post is a brand run by online-based company, Hanwa. I am not sure how much I can emphasize enough. I've never had as impressive T-shirt as this before. Miwahousei's T-shirts are only made in single model, V-neck in shallow curve for both short and long sleeves. The colors are only two are available, black and white. Despite the such simplistic design and the colors, approximately ¥4,000 is a great deal.
Comfortability you will be given by 8.5oz, 100% pure cotton is extraordinary. Astonishing durability is the result of high quality cotton made in Japan and dense sewing.
Since Miwahousei's product can only purchased via internet and shipping is limited in domestic. Only way you can buy this product is to make an order in advance and send it to the hotel you'll be staying. (Miwahousei has not announced to expand their sales to overseas, but they are planning.)

Shallow V-neck is quatro processing. Kiss goodbye the most annoying thing in Tees, getting shabby. You should be able to see how dense the sewing is done. And in the middle of the neck, is folded back which performs extra durability. Texture that touching your neck is extremely comfortable due to soft cotton.
Sewing is carefully done. This is so Japanese.
Each parts are overlaid and sewed.
Inside out. So typical work by Japanese, being particular even on out of sight. Even inside job is beautiful.

The part where covers armpit, is sewed in diamond shape to withstand long use. There is nothing more sad than seeing your favorite Tee to torn up, especially the armpit part!
This isn't recommended to whom prefer rough texture heavy T-shirts. If not, I will guarantee Miwahousei's products are very best of the world. This is rare because there are many products use good fabrics but in most cases, sewing isn't satisfactory. There is no need to overlook loose threads just because you like the brand. I'm sure you will truly be satisfied.
