Fukuoka city is one of the best place to start up a company in Japan because the government provides supports any way they can. Free consultants, less tax rates, subsidies, and so on. So, more innovative companies and products are born everyday in Fukuoka.
"Tandem" (タンデム) is one of such innovative companies, making and planning plastic products enrich our lives. The company was founded in 2015. Although there are like only 5 different products made, 2 of those have won design award of Fukuoka, which is pretty amazing.
In this post, I will be talking about one of the award winner product, "motte" (モッテ) - a tandem grip and "moteta" (モテタ) - a mobile phone grip.
motte.

Material: Thermoplastic styrene elastomer
Multi purpose grip for; ride double (tandem), walking support, rehabilitation etc.
Three dimensional grip. Grooves are designed to bite into your palm, which enables absolutely fine grip even in time of second. The material, "Thermoplastic styrene elastomer", un unique material as its a kind of mixed material of plastic and rubber, is easy to mold and extremely durable. As the feature of hard rubber, soft and stick to hand.
Weight limit: 150kg (330lb)
Pass a belt through the holes to use. Width of the each holes is 6mm which is quite narrow.
Fit image. At the side or back, can easily be modified.

Price: ¥1,036
Smart phone grip made of silicon resin.
To fit, just remove seal cover and place where you want it to be. Just wait for 24 hours until the glue of the sticker hardens.
Once it's hardened. You can move the belt in circle for 360 degrees-angle.
It also works as mobile stand.
Or, can even be used as tab. Much easier to find your smart phone and no need to rummage your bag.
Just make sure the convenience is received by you only, not phone theft.
