Tsuki de hirotta tamago by Asahi
AN EGG PICKED UP FROM THE MOON!?
Yamaguchi local speciality sweet called "Tsuki de hirotta tamago", "Tsukitama" in short. Meaning "an egg picked up from the moon". I haven't had a chance to see an egg from the moon in my life, so this must be it.
Blown away knack for naming their product for sure. But the name isn't the only thing makes you fly.
Soft castella and so creamy cream is something unforgettable. There had been more than 100 flavors of "Tsukitama" were sold as limited edition, Depending on which season you visit Japan, you may be able to find their limited flavor.

Tsukitama.
Price: ¥200
Cream is made of milk made in Yamaguchi and chestnut made in Japan is crushed and put inside the cream. Extremely soft and fluffy castella.
Tsukitama, Onocha.
Price: ¥200
Green tea called onocha is made in Ube area of Yamaguchi prefecture. Green tea flavored cream is mixed with adzuki beans.
Tsukitama, Choco.
Price: ¥200
Plenty of chocolate is used for both castella and cream. Thick chocolate cream is a perfect match with a cup of coffee.
Tsukitama, pudding.

Pudding flavor is reproduced by mixture of caramel sauce and cream. You may not find at stores because this flavor is out of stock at their online store.

Ichigo (strawberry) cream and sweetened condensed milk. Ever tasted a strawberry with sweetened condensed milk? If you have, then you know what I mean. (If you haven't, go to supermarkets in Japan and ask for Rennyu.)
Tsukitama, Kishinekuri.
Price: ¥200
Kishinekuri is chestnut made in Iwakuni of Yamaguchi. Mellow chestnut cream won't last 20 days because you won't let them.
