Washi by Haibara

JAPANESE TRADITIONAL PAPER "WASHI".

Washi has a history about for 1400 years. Known for its thin but durable and long-lasting are the main features. Registered as UNESCO intangible cultural heritage.

Haibara, washi maker in Nihonbashi has more than 200 years history. One of the oldest washi maker in Japan. Their products are known to be very durable.

 

Chiyogami. (Chiyogami Box)

Price: ¥864 to ¥2,916

Chiyogami is often used for origami. Depending on size you choose, the price will differ. Size of the boxes are from business card size to post card size. All products are hand made.

Haibara notes.

Price: ¥1,512

High quality notebook made with Chiyogami. Size of the notebook is A6, easy to carry. Splits to straight angle, making really comfortable writing.

Hitofumisen. (small memo)

Price: ¥432

Hitofumisen means small memo that is for writing short sentence.
