Eirakuya (永楽屋) is tenugui (hand towel made of cotton) company founded in 1615 as cotton cloth wholesaler in Kyoto.
For at least 300 years, Eirakuya has been making tenugui and furoshiki (wrapping cloth). The designs that are put on their tenugui are fusion of tradition and unique.
The quality is no doubt. Using 100% cotton and dyed with good old way, craftsman and antique machine. Coloring and texture, therefore, has hand made feeling which mass produced products can never give.

100% cotton. The most lovable feature of tenugui is used texture that becomes being used often. Gets softer and fits better in hands and skin.
Gauze tenugui.
Price: ¥1,728 to ¥1,836
Gauze cotton tenugui. Unlike ordinal cotton, these are soft texture without daily use. Gets dried quicker. Dyeing color texture is different with other material.
