Kitora shoyu by Tokuboshi

Kitora tumulus, located in Nara prefecture is believed to have been constructed sometime in 7th or 8th century. What makes it popular is wall paintings found within.
There were 12 zodiac animal headed figures with human body painted on wall. Those paintings may be the oldest in East Asia.
Suzaku (Vermilion bird), Byakko (White tiger), Seiryu (Azure dragon), and Genbu (Black tortoise) are motif of soy sauce made by Tokuboshi soy sauce brewery. Each bottle has different taste and suitable use for food.
Tokuboshi soy sauce brewery (Tokuboshi shoyu juzojo) is old brewery that have been running for 3 generations. Known for its mellow and mildly sweet soy sauce.
