Kutaniyaki by Mangetsu
ISHIKAWA CRAFTS, KUTANIYAKI POTTERY.
Vividly and thickly painted pottery originated in Ishikawa prefecture. Colors such as yellow, green, blue, purple are used. Design or the pattern drawn on its pottery is tend to be daring and novel.
Pretty sure walking on streets in Ishikawa prefecture, especially Kanazawa city, you would see Kutani pottery shops in almost every 2 corners.
Mangetsu, is one of them. 5 min walk from Kaga onsen station, fairly accessible. Makes and sales literally all kinds of Kutani potteries. Such as vase, plates, cups, incense burner, etc.
What I'd like to tell you about isn't those.
