Most of Imabari towels are made without colorful designs and may seem unappealing at first. But if you see a Imabari sign on a towel, I suggest you to feel its texture and check the price tag on it.
Let me just say, to avoid confusions, they are not cheap. Although you could find cheaper Imabari towels at outlet stores, normally they are more expensive than standard quality towels in Japan. I like these towels because they price the products suitable for the quality.

I went to "Imabari-yokkin" (今治浴巾) the other day and bought a couple of things for my kid and wife. Let me show you the store and items I bought.

Texture is somewhere in a middle of soft and hard. Knitting is layered, so it is thick but fabric of organic cotton itself is soft.
My 3 month old kid has worn more than 10 times and got no rash on his skin. No loose threads occurred so far. One good shopping done.
