Ingredients:
Granulated sugar, rice cake powder, malt sugar, sugar bonded starch syrup, starch syrup, kinon powder, trehalose, emulsifier
"Kinako flour" is made with rare soy bean called "Tamahomare" (タマホマレ).
Each 3 packs are packed individually. Makes perfect for give aways.
Opened the plastic package. "Furoshiki" looking wrapping is nice.
Tear up the wrapping and you'll see a small bag of brown sugar syrup and a wooden pick.
Pouring brown sugar syrup. You can eat with it or without it. Recommend the very first go without it and eat the rest with the syrup.
The wooden pick may be bit too small, but it makes easier to mix up the kinako flour and the syrup rather than having a fork.
Mix well until it looks like this. Use furoshiki wrapping as in the picture because kinako flour often overflows and your table gets messy.
Soft chewy mochi match with kinako and brown sugar syrup. As they use high grade kinako, "tamahomare", is gives extra roasty rich aroma of kinako. Sweet thick brown sugar syrup doesn't just add sweetness, harmonize.
